Singer Iron
Just as with my recent purchase of the Singer Heavy Duty machine bundle, I am VERY impressed with this iron! It does not leak, during ironing, nor when standing up. It heats up well, and steam works splendidly. Even the very tip of the iron, heats as much as the middle. Used it on a quilt top I'm putting together. Most of the time I prefer the seams ironed open, rather than to one side, and that pointed tip was great for opening up the seam. It has enough weight to it, that excessive pressure is not needed. I like the longer time it stays on. Another iron I have, shuts off after 10 minutes, so during longer projects, it requires frequent, unplugging, and plugging back in. That grew pretty tedious. So glad I tried this one. Singer did it again!

Touch mode vs dial
I have both an aqua and pink version of this iron and so far love them both. I find no difficulty with the touch mode feature on the aqua one. I have medium sized hands (glove size 7) and have never inadvertently bumped the mode changing the temp. Perhaps it is in the grip. I have a pretty straight grip. As an experiment I changed to a more angled grip, and yes the palm knuckle of my index finger pressed on the mode button and could toggle it. But not a natural position for me, so not a problem. The pink version (like the white one) has a dial beneath the handle for changing temp settings. No chance of bumping or changing settings. But the print is small and unless under very bright light, I have trouble reading the different fabric settings. Hope this helps with the controversy. For me, the aqua (touch mode) with lighted very visible indicator is favorite.

An iron from singer?
I love this iron. Great buy too. So glad I didn’t spend $100+! Heats up fast and has a little bit larger reservoir. The extra long pout and gap at the front makes it easy to get around buttons and small spaces. It’s not too heavy. But still has enough weight so I’m not having to press hard. Produces large amounts of steam with no drips. It really penetrates the fabric. Which makes the ironing go faster. The steam is actually almost like my industrial dry steam iron. I recommend this iron. The quality and performance is equal to $100-$200 competitors

Hope I don't have to send it back ☺️
Hi I just finished using my new Singer steam iron. I'm pretty happy at this point the iron got as hot as I expected and I love the weight of the iron. One of the reviews mentioned that it was heavy that maybe the case for some people and it's understandable. I followed the instructions carefully. When I started I did see residue which the instructions manual notes that it may happen. My solution was to turn the iron off and remove some of the water (distilled) I had no further issues. I included a picture of me ironing my uniform for work because I want you to know that I'm just an ordinary person looking for a good iron. I've read so many reviews not only about this product but others too. It was very frustrating so I decided to get take my chances with Singers because they have excellent sewing machines. Lol anyway I hope I don't have to send it back because as of now I'm very pleased.

Nice iron
Lots of heat but very heavy. Like the super pointy tip.

Hope it last this time
I like the iron just because it’s new, give it a few months and I will probably or more than likely order a new one as they all rust from the inside even if the water reservoir is empty after each use. They haven’t invented iron with steamer for home that does not rust. Unbelievable.

Standard?
J’ai retourné le fer à repasser, parce qu’il y avait de l’eau dans le réservoir. Ma question, est-ce normal parce que vous effectuez des tests? Car le remplaçant à lui aussi de l’eau!

They moved the on/off button so I don't keep turning off by accident. Bonus. Cord is long.
I bought the turquoise iron. I love that iron except where the on/off button is. They had it right where your hand is to hold to iron. I kept turning it off by accident. On the pink iron they moved on /off to the body of the iron. Much better. Iron has nice long cord and is a very pretty pink.

Working Well - And it's PINK!
So far so good, I'm enjoying my new Singer iron, heats up fast and no issues with leaking. As a sewer, the longer time before the auto-off function kicks in and the pointed end were key to my choice and of course it's pink, how cute it that! :D
